Here are answers to some commonly asked questions in case I cannot get back to you quick enough!

Where does the tour start?
This tour usually start locally from your hotel or station in the Fuji Kawaguchiko area. Pick ups are local at the following transportation stations: Kawaguchiko Station, Fujikyu Highland Station, Mt Fuji Station.

What should I wear on tour?
If the weather has been nice and dry then feel free to wear your whitest sneakers and your cutest/coolest outfits. However, if it has been raining or snowing in recent days then expect some of our paths to be wet, sometimes muddy, snowy or slushie. Bad weather calls for practical outfits and shoes.
I like to think of my tour as a little adventure, not a fashion show.

How do we get to Fuji Kawaguchiko from Tokyo?
I have written a comprehensive guide for you. Please click on the tab "How to Get Here"

Can you pick us up from Hakone, Mishima Station, Shin Fuji Station, etc?
No sorry. Unfortunately transportation from these areas to Fuji Kawaguchiko is limited. Your best option is to take a taxi or a bus here. Some hotels in the Fuji Kawaguchiko area do pick ups from some of these stations, check with them.

Can you pick us up from the cruise port in Shimizu or Yokohama?
No sorry. Unfortunately I do not offer any services from these locations for cruise ship guests.

Do you go to Mt Fuji 5th Station?
I believe Mt Fuji is best viewed from around it. The road to Mt Fuji 5th station is also closed during the official climbing season and is only reachable by going by bus. Going to the 5th Station from Kawaguchiko Station takes almost an hour to drive to. For example, If we go here it will take up half of your 6 hr tour (1 hr up, 1hr to view, 1 hr down) thus not really making it worthwhile when on tour with us.
Best done as a side mission on your own or a generic bus tour.

Is this a Mt Fuji Climbing tour?
No but there are many great local guides who specialize in this.

Do you go to Gotenba Outlet mall?
No Way!

Why is the cost of lunch not included in your tour?
Cost of lunch is not included in our tour because peoples tastes are too varied for me to have a consistent place to take them and this makes costs too variable. However, I will help you find the best restaurant for you based on whether you wish to try something special and local, or something to match your dietary restrictions.
